Franklin C. Newsom
Prior to Founding Presidium Partners, Mr. Newsom worked as the Chief Financial Officer of Alpine Capital Management. Serving as a member of the investment committee he was instrumental in developing targeted strategies that significantly enhanced client returns while mitigating overall risks. His specific areas of expertise include: investment analytics, business valuations, budgeting, projections and forecasts, risk analysis and reporting.
Mr. Newsom was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Whole Grain Bread Company, a gourmet bread retailer and wholesaler that expanded into five western states before being sold in 2003. Before founding Whole Grain, Mr. Newsom worked as a senior financial analyst with the Chubb Group. While at Chubb, he conducted financial and strategic analysis primarily on biotech and hi-tech companies to assess the risk exposure of extending directors and officers’ liability insurance.
Mr. Newsom holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Brigham Young University, a Masters of International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School of Business.
